It’s back to the basic 3Es for content marketers to break the “Sea of Sameness” due to high volume AI-generated content.

How To Stand Out in an Ocean of AI Content

"Generative AI makes it very easy to share fairly well-written, fairly accurate information, on a staggering array of topics. Humans will never beat AI at this game, and frankly, we shouldn’t try."

AI can produce high-volume content at speeds that humans cannot replicate. But, then, most of it is a "sea of sameness".

Your content can stand out from AI-generated commodity content if it is based on:

  1. Experimentation: LLMs know a lot but they don't know it all. Experiments will help you create "new information" that is unique and proprietary to you.

  2. Experience: Credible human experience will trump any theories churned out by AI tools. Anyday. Because people want to follow and believe people.

  3. Effort: AI tools are augmenting your work productivity and saving you time. Use it to stand out by creating better experiences and memorable content.

What Every CEO Needs To Know About The New AI Act

The European Union recently passed the Artificial Intelligence Act. Companies are obligated to follow the new rules if they have business interests in the 27 members of the EU. The Act will be signed into law when it is passed by the EU which may take upto 24 months.

The Act aims to protect citizens' rights and freedoms while also fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

The Act categorizes AI into unacceptable, high-risk, limited, and minimal risk.

Unacceptable AI will be illegal except for government, law enforcement, and scientific study under specific conditions.

High-risk AI such as businesses in self-driving cars and medical applications will need to adhere to stricter rules and greater obligations around data quality and protection.

Limited and minimal-risk AI include applications of AI purely for entertainment, such as in video games, or in creative processes such as generating text, video, or sounds.
